Wear your pearls often to keep it shiny. Most importantly, your pearls need to breathe. Do not use an air-tight storage area and try to avoid contact with chemicals, chlorine water, perfume and other cosmetics as this can dry out the pearl. You can clean your necklace with a clean soft cloth or use a solution of lukewarm water and mild dish soap in case your necklace needs a deeper rinse. Dip a soft cloth in the solution and wipe the pearls gently.
